Survey of Senior Americans Opinions !

    Washington, D.C.—July16, 1999

 
   A recent survey of senior Americans,  indicated the following:

     1. Congress should pass a law that makes raiding the Social Security

         Trust Fund illegal.

     2. The 1993 tax increase on Social Security benefits should be repealed

         and the "double" tax on senior citizens eliminated.

     3. Congress should pass sensible, free-market Medicare reforms to give

         seniors real health care choices.

     4. Congress should stop Bill Clinton's secret plan to takeover America's 

         health care system.

     5. Congress should put an end to the war on senior citizens' benefits.
