RealPlayer has made major advancements along with the internet in recent years. RealPlayer is used by many of the major sites and is a must have for your computer. The latest Free RealPlayer is 14 and it is a major improvement. The RealPlayer combines RealAudio, RealVideo, RealText, and RealFlash. RealNetworks has been in the business of online multimedia for years, and the company continues to release new tools designed for both the multimedia developer and the consumer. RealPlayer 14, the latest incarnation of the companies freeware user client, can handle just about any kind of multimedia the internet can chuck in your direction. You can adjust bass and treble for audio files and view video clips directly, whether they're locally cached on your hard drive or as streaming video (assembled on the fly from the Internet). RealNetworks boasts over a 100% improvement in both audio and video over the previous RealPlayers. You can now specify your own set of RealChannels to receive continually updated programming from the likes of CNN, ESPN, and NPR.  Just go to the RealPlayer Website at www.real.com/products/player and Look for and click on "RealPlayer Free Download" or "Free RealPlayer". (Not Free Trial, but Free, as they also try to get you to download a non free version, so look for Free.) They will offer upgraded versions available for a small price, however the free version is absolutely excellent as is by itself.
