Question
Can it be renewable?

Answer Coverage under your certificate is not usually renewable and is not intended to be a permanent plan. However for example, If your initial term was for 6 months and the need for short term major medical coverage continues, coverage may be purchased for another 6 months and if the need for short term major medical coverage continues, coverage might be purchased for another term. This varies plan to plan as far the terms and reapplies allowed. The maximum for one policy is 3 years. By reapplying and using more than one plan this could go even longer. Your agent can advise you as to what's best for you based on the length of time that your coverage is needed.
