Hillary's Campaign

A Pennsylvania congressman blasted the media from the floor of the House Tuesday for declining to investigate New York senatorial candidate Hillary Clinton's use of taxpayer-supported planes in her campaign.
Said Rep. Joseph Pitts (R-PA) on the House floor, "In 1991, (Bush) White House chief of staff John Sununu was harshly criticized by the news media for using official aircraft for personal use. . . . Nine years later, we have a first lady whose use of official aircraft to run for political office has already cost the taxpayers more than $182,000."
"I'm amazed that this has going on so long and unquestioned by many in the media," Pitts concluded. Pitts claimed that the Clinton campaign was costing the U.S. taxpayer over $3,700 per flight hour. Hillary's increased flights from Washington to New York since she announced her campaign have become campaign issues in the past few months.
Last month, the House Appropriations subcommittee, which oversees White House spending, said Mrs. Clinton has repaid $32,878 - or about 18 percent - of the $182,471 it cost her to make 26 trips between June 9 and December 14, 1999. House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) told reporters at the time that Mrs. Clinton should reimburse the government for all costs related to her campaign, remarks that were echoed by Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS).
"She ought to at least reimburse the cost for campaign issues. Everybody else does and she should too," said Hastert.
Earlier that month, the Federal Aviation Administration was forced to deny reports that it gave Mrs. Clinton's plane preferential treatment as it landed at airports in New York.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Congressional Republicans today released White House data showing Hillary Rodham Clinton reimbursed taxpayers for only about 18 percent of the cost of her New York Senate campaign trips on government aircraft. A House Appropriations subcommittee charged with overseeing White House spending released the data as members prepared for an afternoon hearing on the first lady's travel. The documents showed Mrs. Clinton's trips to and from New York cost $182,471 but she only reimbursed taxpayers $32,878.
Mrs. Clinton's former Republican opponent, New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, has criticized the first lady for not fully reimbursing taxpayers.
The Republican study of the first lady's travel used data the White House supplied on 26 trips to New York between June 9 and Dec. 14, 1999. Thirteen trips were not accounted for. Costs were estimated based on the $3,705 per hour the Air Force says it costs to fly a C-20.
Republicans noted they estimated the travel
costs is based on the costs of
the less expensive C-20, not the more expensive C-9 the first lady is believed to use.
The study also found the first lady's campaign still owes $3,807 of the $36,685 billed by the White House Travel Office for political trips.
Queen HILLARY! Im appalled that she feels she can jump into any fiefdom, and expect to be like one of those medieval barons wholl be welcomed by the addle-headed serfs who are expected to turn out to lay themselves in the road for her white, ladylike foot to step on. ... Im sorry to say she has no record of professional accomplishment of any kind. All she has ever shown the ability to do is make speeches. The moment she withdraws from the podium, she collapses into petulance and grievance. This woman is a functional neurotic.

A Kentucky Fried Chicken location in New York had a special on what they were calling the "Bucket of Hillary"- two small breasts, two large thighs, and a bunch of left wings.
Wipe your feet! When it comes to marketing first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, what will they dream up next? A company registered as Diplomat Inc., apparently not linked to the Democratic National Committee, is peddling "Hillary Doormats." Constructed of durable polyester, the mat's artwork (Mrs. Clinton's smiling mug) resists rubbing and scraping. Better yet, each doormat includes a choice of Hillaryisms: "I've always been a Yankee fan!" "I'm part Jewish." "It's all a vast right-wing conspiracy!" "Let them bake cookies!" "Billing records? What billing records?" Sample doormats and Hillaryisms can be viewed over the Internet at www.hillarydoormat.com.
